We are hiring in-home caregivers for a quadriplegic woman.
- Shifts are 4 - 10 hours long and arranged around your school/life schedule.
- Days, nights, and weekend shifts available.
- Starting wages, $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience and training)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- As a Badger Care team member, you'll provide in-home healthcare to a 40-year-old woman.
- You'll learn about specialized nursing procedures and get firsthand experience working in a high-acuity, non-hospital environment.
- You'll build close relationships with your team members and enjoy direct support and training from your employer.
Responsibilities
Personal Care
- Bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring from bed or wheelchair.
Medical Care
- Preparing and administering oral and sub-q medication, stoma care, and respiratory support [suctioning and ventilator management - training provided].
Household Maintenance
- Performing light housekeeping, tracking and ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Daily Activities
- Preparing simple meals, assisting with hobbies, walking and caring for Maggie (an adorable toy poodle), going to appointments and outings to the movies, shopping, or dining out.
Emotional & Physical Support
- Physiotherapy, support after PTSD episodes, be a shoulder to lean on, and a listening ear.

WHAT WE'LL LOVE ABOUT YOU
You Have
- A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Exceptional time management skills.
You Can
- Work both independently and as part of a group.
- Manage a physical workload.
- Work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
YOU WILL BE A PREFERRED CANDIDATE IF
- You have recent experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields.
- You have a flexible schedule (especially if you can work some nights or weekends).
- You have a driver's license (A novice or full license, not a learner's).
- You love dogs and are excited to interact with them.
